****Update: Ha’iku Ho’olaule’a and Flower Festival, April 24, 2021****

It is with mixed emotions that we are writing this letter. One year ago, we were looking at an approaching pandemic and wondering whether we would be able to hold the Ha’iku Ho’olaule’a and Flower Festival. We waited as long as we could before finally realizing that we had to cancel the event in order to keep our community safe and healthy. Fast forward to our current situation and we are still navigating our way through a global pandemic that has affected almost everything we do.
We hope that each of you; individuals, vendors, donors, sponsors etc., are staying healthy and happy, as best as you can, as we are all still feeling the impacts of Covid19 in our everyday lives.
Due to incoming guidance and current rules from the Department of Education and County of Maui, we are writing a letter to inform each of you that we will be canceling this year’s Ha’iku Ho’olaule’a and Flower Festival 2021. We are looking at other options, including possibly having a virtual event. We appreciate each of you who have been involved with the festival over the years and look forward to a time when we are all able to gather again and celebrate together with crafts, music, plants, food and good company!
